Can you believe I have made it to week two without smoking a single cigarette.. So Happy and proud of myself I have to say, i am finding myself with more and more energy as each day goes by, now don't get me wrong, some days I want to go to bed and stay there under the cover's for the day :(

Mood Swings, Cold Turkey & Cravings
So here I am on my 12th day of quitting cigarette's. I feel great in myself and feel like I have a lot more energy and less stressed and I feel weird even writing this into my blog but I have to admit I am noticing the benefits of quitting those nasty cigarette's, well I am not jumping the gun too quick but still getting by day by day with my will power and mind set of getting myself away from that addiction of smoking and that's exactly what it is and ADDICTION to something that basically destroys your health and body and skin....
You are probably thinking that I am not out of the loop yet and why would I speak like this, simply because I have done a lot more research about cigarettes than I ever have in the past and only because I am getting that little bit older and and seeing myself in a different light meaning I don't want to leave this world just yet so why am I killing myself slowly and I know that is what I am doing... Lets face its a " FACT "
What are the benefits of smoking, I can't even think of one, but I sure can think of a million reasons why I shouldn't smoke.... I am not going to start even typing them out Ill be here forever, I am sure you know what I mean.......
As I have been in a very bad mood for the past few day's I have not uploaded any of my videos up to my Quit Smoking Video Blog on my Youtube channel.... Nearly at week 2...... Delighted with my progress and I say that to myself simply because I am giving myself some praise because I remember the last time I tried to give them up, I always put myself down saying that I could not do it and why was I even giving them up because I was always going to be a smoker..... this time its different for me..........
So I have made it to Week 1 of me trying to quit Smoking/Cigarettes
Well to be honest I've never thought I would even try to give up smokes right now and here I am saying I have reached Week 1, which is such a big achievement for me right now.. As I have said in my previous blog post, I have been smoking for over 20 years and now I'm hitting my first week of quitting.. I'm so proud of myself for getting here....
I have uploaded a video blog for myself to show you a day by day sort of cravings I go through wanting a cigarette at points in the day, but I m training my mind to say every time I get a craving I just say that its not worth it and Its time to change my way of thinking about how I see cigarettes...
I would smoke about a pack a day that's about 20 cigarettes and it would cost me about €60 to €70 per week, so, so far I have saved that money in my pocket by not smoking....
Now its not easy believe me but its not hard either, its not as hard as I thought it would be, but I'm getting there slowly but surely with the help of all my friends on line and hubby Barry, its great to have a bit of support but to be honest Its up to yourself at the end of the day weather you want to give them up....

So there you have it, Finally got myself to Week 1 of No Smoking, so day by day and If I can do it so can you, Big Well done to everyone who has mailed saying how long they are off the Smokes, Hope fully I will get to say ill be off them in a month or ven six months but who knows, mind over matter :):)

So here I am nearing my first full week of having not smoked and I am very proud of myself for my attempt to quit this addiction of smoking cigarettes.
Day 6 and I am feeling so much better and full of energy and life. I was out walking my dogs today as I just needed to get out and get some fresh air into my new lungs. Got up early this morning fresh as a daisy and spring cleaned my house and washed my car in the mix, I just have to keep busy to take my mind off quitting the cigarettes, its working so far so good.....

So as you have just seen in the video above, my conscience has followed me and caught back up asking me to give into smoking again, I really don't think so this time chickyboo.
So I'm into my 5th day of still not smoking and have to say, its very tough for me but I know it will be worth in the end, but to be honest, there are days when I feel like having a sneeky cigarette with no one around but I know ill be just cheating myself if I do have that smoke on the sly..
So I just want to say to all who are trying to quit smoking and cutting out those cigarettes, I can so relate to how hard and tough it is, I have tried in the past to cut out smoking those nasty cigarettes and have gave them up for a long time before. The longest I was off the cigarettes was for over nine months about three years ago, but since I went back on them I went back to chain smoking, they are not only costing me a lot of money but are killing me slowly and its so tough to quit smoking when nearly everyone I know smokes around me....
But I am determined to quit smoking this time round, hopefully I get a lot of support of my family and friends and I would love nothing more if they quit with me so we can all do it together, but sometimes you have to do things alone and for the money I will save it will be going towards my wedding fund for my big special day, I am not getting any younger so I want to look my best on the big day in the near future :)

We started our craziness with a session in a house on the South side and headed out to Dame St to meet up with a couple of friends of mine, you know who you are, delighted to see you crazy bitches out and about, been way too long, So headed to City Bar for a couple of shots and we sure got enough of those into us at the bar..

So after a few shots and scoops we left there to head to " Mother " a club just off Dame St, first time being there in ages and loved it, had a brill night with my hubby and friends. Door staff were very friendly, had some great laughs with them and bar staff were friendly also, music was right up my street, I was thinking it was my birthday :) instead of the hubby's :) always the same with me when were out, birthday weekend every weekend..
Of Course I'm doing a " VOGUE COMPETITION IN Mother Club :)
So after there we ended back over on the southside for another session and kept going to the early hours, ah sure when your out you have to stay out :) after we left and ended up in another friends house on the northside and what a laugh, meet some great people there, still laughing about it now, but as always the party always ends and it sure did with myself crashing on the sofa I was sitting in the late hours of Sunday night...

PARTY OVER TIME uuggghhhh hate that part so I do.... So as we did, we made a quick call to get picked up by our gorgeous sister, when she did finally pick us up, she just took one look at the heads on us and turned her head, and laughed,
THE BLEEDING STATE OF YOU TWO :):) we were still pissed at the time, chatting away and laughing about the whole weekend, but all in good fun, ye have to be able to go out and enjoy yourself every now and then and make the most of the weekend.... Was seriously paying for it on the Monday in work though, god i was in a awful state, hubby off work for the day and slept most of the day, poor me dragged myself through the day :(:( but made it through..

WOW I say, when you put it on paper and really see what it costs, its shocking, that's a hell of a lot of money to put into my body, but even when I am writing this blog, I'm thinking about having a smoke, but what I'm using at the moment is an electronic cigarettes which is helping me out a lot.....
I have had a bit of a trigger point today when I was in work and i felt very hot and bothered and wanted to run for the door and have a cigarette but am going to try my best to finally quit smoking once and for all....
I have seen when i put a status out on my facebook page about me trying to stop smoking I got a lot of encouragement and support from a lot of my friends and alot there are a lot of who are giving up smoking also so I don't actually feel so alone in doing it which is great for me ...
Anyways, I will keep you posted on how I get on with my no smoking as i will make a couple of videos about blogging to give you an update on how i am coping with it, but wish me luck as its a very tough road ahead for me....

So here is a couple of pictures of the project you are going to be creating......

So whatever the name you choose to personalise here is what you are going to need to complete your project...
1. Lots and Lots of Cardboard " Ask Your local Supermarket or Toy store for empty boxes "
2. Couple of rolls of Strong sellotape, " Duck-tape or glue or a stapler "
3. Pencil or Marker
4. Measuring Tape or Ruler
5. Lots of fancy Christmas Wrapping Paper
6 Optional.... Bows, Ribbons, Bobbles, Bells or Fancy Decorations
Also Just a few pictures of the single letters to show you closer what they look like finished
